A traditional village fete was enjoyed in Godolphin on a brilliantly sunny day.
Taking place in the grounds of Godolphin House, with free entry, but organised by villagers, the event was a chance for the community to come together.
It is estimated that more than 2,500 people attended over the course of the day, including visitors from foreign countries such as Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
Organiser Alison Hallett said: “It was absolutely fantastic. The weather was really nice and stayed dry. In the afternoon we had people sitting on the grass around the band area, just enjoying listening.
“I think it went really, really well.”
There was a variety of stalls to look over, selling everything from crafts to food, with performances from musicians to morris dancers.
Many people brought their pets along to join in the fun dog show and there were games for children.
Alison added: “We’re very pleased with the support.”
Money raised will be split between Godolphin Community Association and Godolphin Christmas Lights, with a donation to St John Ambulance.
