In April the famous Lost Gardens of Heligan launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise £7,500 to help pay for poppy seeds, performers, costumes and materials for a WWI project.
100:The Day Our World Changed will "re-tell and re-live the lives of the brave men who went to war and the families they left behind".
The field of poppies will act as a 'living stage' for the event, and the flowers have started to bloom.
