It has been suggested that Helston’s three Cornwall councillors could begin “surgeries” once a month to meet with the public.
It was raised by councillor Phil Martin at the last meeting of the town council. He said the Guildhall could be used as a meeting place.
Mayor Mike Thomas said that such a thing had been tried in the past, on a Saturday morning, with little success.
However he added he would be happy to support it and it was agreed to discuss it further informally.
