The countdown to Falmouth Week has begun and with just over two weeks to go until all the action begins on and off the water, we are offering one reader the chance to win tickets to each of the party nights at Events Square.

The Packet has teamed up with South West Bars and Events to give away a pair of tickets to each event, with this year’s line-up creating a diverse programme which includes 90s boy band, East 17; 80s singer Toyah Willcox 90s dance act Livin’ Joy; firm favourites The Wurzels along with Cornwall’s very own ska band, Rudi’s Message; Kernow King and Colin Leggo.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the regatta’s shoreside activity, there will also be performances by tribute bands, Fleetwood Bac and Bon Giovi; a chance to step back in time with Company B, supported by the Land Girls; and to dance the night away to the ten-piece hi-energy band Joey the Lips performing songs by the likes of Beyonce and Tina Turner.

All the fun will kick off after Falmouth Carnival on Saturday, August 9, when there will be an evening of free entertainment with the Falmouth Soul Sensations live on stage.

Tickets for the following eight nights on Events Square can be bought now online via www.falmouthweek.co.uk or in person at the box office hut when it opens on Friday outside Steins at Grove Place.

To get full details of all that is planned over Falmouth Week, which runs from August 9 to 17, visit the official website or search for it on Facebook.
