Falmouth to Truro trail service cancelled after person hit by train

UPDATE: First Great Western have confirmed that while a person was hit by a train between Bath and Bristol this morning, as the Packet reported, the cancelled trains on the line between Truro and Falmouth were due to a fault.

Incorrect information was published on the First Great Western website.
 

There are reports of delays and cancellations this morning on the Truro to Falmouth rail line after a person was hit by a train, near Bath.

The 8.20am Truro to Falmouth Docks service was cancelled, along with the return train leaving Falmouth at 8.50am, were cancelled.

The First Great Western website says this is due to "a person hit by a train earlier". 

More details as we get them.

It sometimes depends on where the rolling stock originates from and also where the drivers are based. It is not uncommon for an incident in one area to affect seemingly unconnected areas.
