Banks, building societies and supermarkets are being encouraged to ensure their cash machines are regularly topped up over the four days of the Falmouth Tall Ships Regatta, after some ran dry during the Sea Shanty festival.
Some of the ATMs ran dry over the Sea Shanty Festival in June leading town manager, Richard Gates, to say: “If they ran out with 25,000 people in town, we do not want to run out 100,000 people in town.”
