A 61 motorcyclist from Looe has suffered life changing injuries after a crash involving a livestock lorry and a car at Bodmin.
The rider of the Yamaha YZF motorcycle was taken to Derriford Hospital by air ambulance with a serious leg injury and chest injuries after the incident yesterday.
The livestock lorry, registered to Bodmin, was carrying 11 cattle; none of the animals were injured.
The other vehicle involved was a grey Audi A3, registered to Hampshire.
The incident is being investigated by officers from the Force Serious Collisions Investigation Unit who carried out an examination of the scene.
Dunmere Road reopened just after 9pm.
Any witnesses to the collision are asked to contact police on 101, quoting log 622 of 31 July.
