A fifty-five year old man has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter over the death one of Port Isaac's Fisherman's Friends.

The man  from Shropshire being held by police over the deaths of Trevor Grills and the group's tour manager Paul McMullen.

The two men died after being hit by a falling metal door weighing over four tonnes at venue G-Live in Guildford in February 2013.

A spokesperson for Surrey Police said: "A 55-year-old man from the Bridgnorth area of Shropshire has been arrested in connection with the investigation into the deaths of two men following an incident at the G Live theatre venue in Guildford last year.

"He was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter by gross negligence and is currently in custody."
