UPTO 150 of the best 4X riders from across the country will descend on Falmouth for the biggest race of the year, as the national 4X championships, hosted by Carrick Riders, comes to Penance Farm this Saturday. 


Spectators will be treated to the thrills and spills of the heat stages, which consists of four riders competing against each other on a short track with jumps and technical moves galore.


The exciting event will be enjoyable for all ages and members of the family over the weekend, and it's a great platform to get youngsters involved in this exciting sport.

Racing starts at 2pm on Saturday, August 9, but that's not all on offer.

Expert advice is on hand, with some of the biggest names in cycling displaying trade stands, together with mouth-watering local catering stands to whet your appetites.


Full camping facilities are available at Penance Mill Farm, Maenporth, and local rock band Shambles will provide entertainment during what promises to be a fun-filled day for everyone.
