Fabulous Falmouth Week kicks off this Saturday, and organisers are promising a raft of events on and off the water, with the Red Arrows set to fly over Falmouth on Wednesday, August 13 at 6.15pm, weather permitting.

80's icon Toyah Wilcox and nineties' boyband East 17 will be headlining the evening entertainment.

The rest of the week sees a real variety of music and entertainment styles with Falmouth Week 2014 kicking off as usual with the marching carnival on August 9 which will be followed by a free party night in the marquee on Events Square with music from Falmouth Soul Sensations.

The Wurzels are back on the Sunday night for their traditional slot and Monday sees Fleetwood Mac tribute Fleetwood Bac’s show which has been endorsed by Mick Fleetwood himself.

Audiences will step back in time to the 1940s on Tuesday night when Company B make a welcome return, supported by the Land Girls and it’ll be time to rock on Wednesday when Bon Giovi host the tribute night, performing the hits of American rockers Bon Jovi, only hours after the Red Arrows are due to have given their second display in Falmouth this year.

Rudi’s Message are back for the Ska night on the Thursday and the penultimate night of Falmouth Week will see the pirate/Caribbean party with the ten-piece hi-energy band Joey the Lips performing songs by the likes of Beyonce and Tina Turner.

The final night will be taken over by Kernow King with his new show Splann which features Budock’s Colin Leggo and St Agnes maid Anna Keirle.

Tickets are available now from Seetickets.com with the Events Square box office also open.

Out on the water there will be plenty to keep sailing fans busy. For the full 12 page guide click here
