First published in News

Wheal Dream Golf Club near Helston is seeking pre-application advice for the proposed construction of new timber chalets which would allow it to offer golf mini breaks.

The area of land on which it is proposed the ten lodges are built is not being used as part of the golf course, has no immediate neighbours, and is adjacent to the Wheal Dream restaurant owned by the applicant’s brother.

The difference is Wheal Dream are seeking pre application advice for planning, they have not gone ahead and built a shed that is fitted out like a chalet and then let it out with total disregard to planning consent, as was the case of the shed in the garden article I believe.
