IN the early hours of the morning a 33-year-old man was seen by the police shouting at house windows and kicking at vehicles in the road at Penryn.
He was Michael Barringer, of Carn View, Penryn, who pleaded guilty at Truro Magistrates’ Court to being drunk and disorderly at Penryn on July 14.
He told the magistrates he had had some bad news that day and turned to drink after not having had any for some time following rehabilitation. Now he was off the drink once more.
Barringer was fined £35 with £60 costs and surcharge and given a drink banning order for a year.
