THE Falmouth fashion scene was proudly on display when a fundraising fashion show took in the town.

Held at the Princess Pavilion, the event featured volunteer models showcasing a wide array of fashion styles.

A grand total of £1,200 was raised, with proceeds going towards the Falmouth Festival Fund to help decorate the town at special occasions, such as with Christmas lighting and bunting.

These then also receive match funding from Falmouth Town Council.

Organiser Jane Thomas, owner of fashion ship Just Like This said: “Everything went really smoothly.”

Designs ranging from local independent shops to chain stores were on display. Rock cover band Preachin' Country were also there to give a special guest performance, with a raffle also to available to take part in.

Jane added: “It was fun for everyone and everything, of all shapes and sizes.

“I want to give thanks to all the Falmouth community, the customers and friends, for all coming together. Without them the show couldn't have gone on.”

Jane plans to hold another fashion show next year in October, following the “great feedback” she received for the performance at this year's event.
