Police in Launceston are appealing for witnesses after a woman with learning difficulties was sexually assaulted in the town.
The 22-year-old local woman was walking home on Sunday, August 10 when she was approached by a man at the new traffic lights on Western Road.
She was waiting to cross the road when the man, wearing a black blazer and black trousers, pinched her bottom and then walked away towards the town centre.
Police would like to speak to anyone who saw the incident, which happened sometime between 4.30pm and 6pm.
