The Lizard Stallions Carriage & Stud Co, which operates an historic horse bus in Cornwall, has received a prestigious award from the Transport Trust and a contribution towards the costs of the restoration of the wheels on the bus.
Owners Peter Woodford and Nicky Mendham were unable to attend the awards ceremony with the Trust’s patron Prince Michael of Kent, but received the grant from trustee Chris Heaps, an Helstonian by birth who keeps a property in the town.
