There was a lucky escape for one woolly jumper yesterday evening, when a sheep had to be rescued after tumbling down a cliff on the Lizard Peninsula.
Firefighters were called to Housel Bay, at around 6.15pm on Wednesday after the animal fell 15 metres down the cliff.
Crews from Mullion were joined by the specialist line rescue crew from Camborne, and safely recovered the sheep.
