Holby City's Jac Naylor, aka actress Rosie Marcel, will be opening the Last Chance Hotel's family fun day and dog show at Briggan Farm Kennels in Redruth on September 14.
The event, which runs from 10am until 5pm, will include a variety of fun and games, stalls, refreshments and face painting in addition to the dog show.
This has classes for prettiest girlie, handsomest boy, most appealing eyes, softest ears, Rosie's Choice, best fancy dress, greedy piggie - dog that can eat the biscuit the fastest - best show off (trick), best furry friend (for children five to 16 years), dog most like its owner, best shorthaired, best longhaired, naughtiest dog in show, best rescue dog, best puppy (four to 12 months), best golden oldie (over eight years), dog the judge would like to take home, waggiest tail or stump, best in show (for all dogs who won rosettes) and almost there (open class for any dog).
All money raised at the event will go to the Last Chance Hotel which rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes abused and neglected animals.
