A drunken teenager causing problems for the police in Falmouth demanded that he should be arrested and got his wish.

It was after he refused to stop swearing and shouting in Kimberley Park Road, on the night of August 14.

He was Connor Wolf Muchmore, aged 19, of Pengelly Place, Falmouth, who pleaded guilty at Truro Magistrates’ Court to being drunk and disorderly and possessing 2.10 grammes of cannabis worth £20.

He told the magistrates he took the cannabis because of pain in his leg, and was sorry for his behaviour that night.

He was fined £35 and £40 costs and surcharge, and given a drink banning order for a year.
