A man who damaged windows and other property in Helston cut himself badly enough to need hospital treatment.
At Truro Magistrates’ Court Thomas-dale Graeme Steele, aged 30, of Church Street, Helston, pleaded guilty to two charges of criminal damage, at Merchants’ Bar and Mother’s Bakery.
The court heard he had been exhibiting psychotic symptoms and was currently awaiting further mental health assessment.
Steele was given a conditional discharge for 24 months and told to pay £100 compensation and costs and surcharge of £100.
