Tractor on fire in Gwithian field sparks call out for crews
Firefighters were called out to a farm near Gwithian yesterday evening after a tractor caught fire.
Six firefighters from Camborne Fire Station were sent just after 5pm and found the machine had caught fire in a recently cut field of straw.
The crew used a hose reel and breathing apparatus to put out the flames, before damping down the scene to make the vehicle and area safe.
