A casualty had to be cut free from the mangled aftermath of a crash yesterday afternoon near Helston.
Firefighters were called out to Sithney Common Hill just after 13.30pm.
Six firefighters on one appliance from Helston and five on a rescue tender from Camborne attended a call to a two vehicle road traffic collision on the B3302.
A spokesman said: "On crews arrival it was confirmed that one casualty was trapped, Ambulance paramedics stabilised the casualty before fire crews used crash rescue equipment to cut free the casualty. Once released the casualty was left in the care of South West Ambulance paramedics and fire crews made the scene safe."
