Trying to drive through a Helston town centre street late at night has been described as “an absolute joke” due to the number of taxis.
The comment was made by town councillor Gillian Geer, who said that during the evening taxis sat “three to four deep” in Coinagehall Street.
She said: “It’s getting to be an absolute joke trying to get round by the monument and Coinagehall Street, because you have to weave in and out.”
PCSO Paul Whitford said he hoped PC Anne Butcher would soon be back at work and had successfully addressed the issue in the past.
