The proposed demolition of the Ponsmere Hotel in Perranporth and its replacement with residential properties will be discussed at a public meeting next month.

Cornwall Council is holding a public meeting to share information and listen to public opinion on planning application PA14/01020 - the demolition of the hotel and erection of 28 residential apartments, 11 houses, two flats over garages, a restaurant and car parking and associated infrastructure.

The public meeting will be held on Thursday 13 November 2014 at 6pm in the Perranporth Memorial Hall, TR6 0DP.

Anyone who attends the meeting who wishes to express their views on the planning application to the Central Sub-Area Planning Committee will be asked to register on arrival and will then be called upon to speak.

The public meeting provides an opportunity for Councillors to listen to the views of local people.  Please note no decision will be taken at the Public Meeting.

Please be aware that the maximum capacity for the hall is 190 and this cannot be exceeded

The planning application is due to be considered and debated at the Central Sub-Area Planning Committee meeting at 2pm in the Council Chamber at the Council Offices at Truro on Monday 24 November 2014
