A car snapped an electricity pole after crashing into it in Godolphin Cross near Helston on Wednesday night.
Firefighters and police and were called to Godolphin Crescent at around 9.30pm, and the fire crew found the car to have been abandoned.
Fire crews made the vehicle safe and remained on scene until the arrival of electricity engineers and a recovery firm.
