A person had to be treated for smoke inhalation following a kitchen fire in Penzance yesterday afternoon.
Two fire engines were called to the incident in St. Clare Street just before 5pm.
A fire service spokesperson said: "On arrival the crews found that there had been a fire involving the cooker, which was fortunately extinguished. An ambulance was requested to treat one person for the effects of smoke inhalation."
