Cornwall Council’s tree officer and Penryn Town Council have offered no objection to an application to prune two beech trees on land next to number 37, Old Well Gardens.

The applicant has asked for permission as the trees “considerably” overhang his property and he is worried that they may damage his house or injure his family.

He has warned that to retain the overall shape of the trees while removing some branches may result in the reduction of the crown.
