The Royal British Legion have released details of all the remembrance servics and parade being held across Cornwall.

FALMOUTH - TOWN COUNCIL Sunday 9 November - Muster on The Moor 1020, march to War Memorial in Kimberley Park for Ceremony of Remembrance at 1100. Tuesday, 11 November - Short Service of Remembrance and Two Minute Silence. Muster Prince of Wales Pier (St Nazaire Memorial) 1045 (N.B. No wreath laying).

CAMBORNE RBL DETAILS OF SERVICE/PARADE: Sunday 2 November - Remembrance Parade and Service at PORTREATH Muster at the Sea Front Car Park at 1400. March off at 1415 to St Marys Church. Wreaths to be laid and a short service to be conducted in Church at approx. 1430. Tea and Buns in the Church Hall afterwards. Free car parking for those joining the parade.

Sunday 9 November Camborne Remembrance Parade and Service Muster at Camborne Community Centre at 1000. At 1020 we shall parade to Camborne Parish Church for the wreath laying ceremony and the observance of the 2 minutes silence. Then we shall parade through the Town Centre to the Wesley Chapel for the service. After the service the congregation will be invited to take tea and buns in the Wesley Hall.

Tuesday 11 November - Children's Open Air Service - Camborne War Memorial All Camborne Schools invited to an open air service commencing at 1045. Children will lay Posies of Poppies on the War Memorial. Children and staff should wear appropriate clothing as this service will take place in the open air.

On completion, Parade returns to RBL club for refreshments.

TRURO RBL DETAILS OF SERVICE/PARADE: Sunday 2 November - Garden of Remembrance to take place at 1145 East end of Cathedral. Dignitaries and VIP’s assemble in the Kernow Club at 1100.

Sunday 9 November – Parade to muster at 1400 in Boscawen Street, march past will take place at approx.. 1430. The Cathedral Service will commence at 1515.

Tuesday 11 November – Muster at the War Memorial in Boscawen Street at 1055 to observe 2 minute silence at 1100.

TYWARDREATH RBL DETAILS OF SERVICE/PARADE: Sunday 9 November - Parade will start at 1040 from Poldrea, Tywardreath, where the parade will march to St Andrews Church for a service outside by the War Memorial and then into the church at 1100 for the full service (all welcome). Parade will then march back to Legion Lane.

WADEBRIDGE RBL Sunday 9 November - Assemble at the Memorial Stones in the Egloshasyle Playing Fields for the laying of wreaths and prayers. This will be followed by a parade to Egloshayle Church where the Remembrance Service will be held. After the Service we will parade back to the Egloshayle Playing Fields. The timings for Remembrance Sunday are as follows: 1000 hrs Assemble at the Memorial Stones, Egloshayle Playing Fields 1015 hrs Wreath laying and prayers (to include the silence) 1030 hrs The Parade will commence 1100 hrs Remembrance Service at Egloshayle Church 1200 hrs Parade back to Egloshayle Playing Fields Wreaths for those organisations who order them annually will be available for collection at the Memorial Stones on the day. BODMIN RBL DETAILS OF SERVICE/PARADE: Sunday 9 November – Parade to form up at 0900 at the Keep. Service and wreath laying ceremony at DCLI memorial. Parade will then move down to Shire Hall and march off at 1000 to the War Memorial and then to St Pertrocs Church for a Service at 1100.

Sunday 9 November – Rotary Club hosts a Remembrance Day concert in aid of Hayle and St Ives Poppy Appeal at St. Anta Church, Carbis Bay: commences at 7.30pm.

PADSTOW RBL Sunday 9 November - Parade to muster in the Strand (near the bandstand) at 1015. Parade will march to St. Petroc's Church for the service of Remembrance at 1050 (anyone wishing to attend the service, but not partake in the parade, is advised to arrive early). Following the service the parade will fall in and march to the War Memorial, overlooking the estuary for a short service and laying of the wreaths. On completion, the parade will march back to the town where the salute will be taken in Duke Street by an officer from RAF St. Mawgan, to be dismissed on arrival at the Strand.

Tuesday 11 November - RBL and members of the public to muster at 1050 outside The Institute in Market Place (by Barclays Bank) for a 2 minute silence at 1100.

MOUSEHOLE RBL Sunday 9 November – Parade to muster at 1045 at the Royal British Legion Hall, to march to the War Memorial. A short Service will be conducted on the cliff next to the Memorial followed by a Wreath Laying ceremony and the Reading of the Names of the Fallen. Refreshments will be available at the Legion Club following the service.

NEWQUAY RBL DETAILS OF SERVICE/PARADE: Sunday 9 November - Parade will form up at Fore Street Car Park, just below Sainsbury Supermarket at 1015 and will march off at 1025 prompt to arrive at St Michaels Church by 1050.

Tuesday 11 November - At 1100 hours, 2 Minutes Silence will be observed at the War Memorial located on the Headland, followed by a wreath laying ceremony.

LAUNCESTON RBL DETAILS OF SERVICE/PARADE: Saturday 8 November – Launceston Town Band host a Remembrance Concert at the Town Hall at 7.45pm with all proceeds going to the Poppy Appeal.

Sunday 9 November - The parade will form up by the multi-story car park in Westgate Street at 1030 then march to the War Memorial in the Town Square for the Act of Remembrance and wreath laying ceremony commencing at 1100. The Service of Remembrance will follow. The parade will then perform a march past of the War Memorial before dismissal outside the Town Hall. Refreshments will be available in the Town Hall immediately after the parade.

LISKEARD RBL DETAILS OF SERVICE/PARADE Friday 24 October – Festival of Remembrance to be held at St Martin’s Church at 1900. To incorporate the laying up of the Liskeard Women’s Section Standard.

Sunday 2 November – Dedication of the Field of Remembrance will be held at Webb’s House commencing at 1400.

Sunday 9 November - parade leaves the Cattle Market at 1040 to the War Memorial for a wreath ceremony and then onto St Martin’s Church for a service. The parade will then march back to the Cattle Market. Refreshments will be available at the RBL Club, Barn Street following the service.

LOOE RBL DETAILS OF SERVICE/PARADE: Sunday 9 November - The Looe Parade will commence from the guild hall at 1030 and. proceed to the memorial. A short service will be held at 1045 and the 2-minute silence observed at 1100.
