A Taxi driver from Helston has been told he must not pick up fares in Camborne under the terms of a restraining order made against him at Truro Magistrates’ Court.
Robert Kenneth Eaton, aged 57, of Carey Park, Helston, pleaded not guilty to using threatening behaviour against another taxi driver, Beth Mitchell, at Camborne on April 27. No evidence was offered against him on the making of the order and the charge was dismissed.
The court heard that Eaton accepted, on a basis of plea, that there had been an incident between him and Ms Mitchell involving his use of language which had frightened her.
The order banned Eaton from picking up fares in Camborne and contacting Ms Mitchell.
