Suspended Helston cop makes no plea in fraud case
A Helston police officer currently suspended from duty has made no plea when appearing on fraud charges at Truro Magistrates' Court.
Christopher Alan Higgs, 30, of Parc an Maen, Porthleven, entered no plea at Truro Magistrates’ Court to a charge of fraud by false representation between August 1 and November 1, allegedly involving his stepsister Sophie Leonard.
He was remanded in custody until his next court appearance which will be by video link on December 9.
