This year Truro Cathedral’s 'Late Night Shopping' evenings will be on December 3, 10 and 17, between 6.30 and 9pm.

As well as the regular programme of community music groups, including Penrice Academy Jazz Band, Newquay Tretherras School, Choir Cornwall Youth Classical Guitar Ensemble and Kesson Tus providing the entertainment for shoppers, this year also sees the addition of more than a dozen Christmas stalls provided by charities such as Cornish Christmas Giving, Carrick Mind, Cornwall Hospice Care, ShelterBox and Children’s Hospice South West.

Each will beselling Christmas gifts and items helping to raise funds.

Refreshments this year will be made and staffed by employees of Pender Law of Truro and the Cathedral’s education team will be entertaining children with fun arts and craft activities.

As usual the Christmas Tree and Crib will attract many admiring glances and the Cathedral Christmas Shop and the Cathedral Restaurant will also be open – making a visit to the cathedral a must on Late Night Shopping Evenings. For more information see www.trurocathedral.org.uk
