MATTHEW Nuciforo put in a good performance at the Camborne Boxing Show as he took on home fighter Tomas Kaskauskas.
The Falmouth and Penryn Boxing Club member was put under pressure early on in the bout with the Camborne and Redruth Boxing Club man, who showed a lot of skill bobbing and weaving couple with some big shots.
However, Nuciforo soaked this all up and threw some big shots of his own with one of his left hooks catching his opponent sweetly to force Kaskauskas back in the corner.
He went onto land a fine combination of shots to the head and body which Kaskauskas producing no retaliation.
The referee stepped in at this point to stop the fight, giving Nuciforo a win by technical knock-out, making it the ninth win in a row for a member of the club.
