Police are appealing for witnesses after the owners of eight vehicles parked in the Beacon and Bassett Street area of Falmouth woke to find glass littering seats and pavements.
The culprits struck sometime between 1.30am and 8am last Thursday, January 22, smashing the driver side windows of the cars and apparently rifling through the contents of the vehicles.
Stolen from two of the cars were a lady’s dark brown ski jacket with a fur trimmed hood, satellite navigation equipment and £25 in cash.
PCSO Bill Wood carried out door to door inquiries in the area first thing on Thursday when it was down to him, in some instances, to break the news to the car owners that their vehicles had been targeted.
Anyone who can help the police trace those responsible for the criminal damage and theft is asked to call 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111, and quote crime reference CR/4915/15.
