It was all about team work when pupils from four primary schools on the Lizard Peninsula gathered for a day of adventure.
More than 70 year three and four pupils in the Keskowethyans Multi Academy Trust, made up of Coverack, Grade-Ruan, Manaccan and St Keverne schools, joined together at BF Adventure at Halvasso.
Here they worked in mixed school activity groups on a range of different tasks, many of which had a strong but subtle emphasis on team building.
The problem solving activities could not be completed individually and in order to succeed the youngsters had to share ideas and effort, listening to each other and working together.
The children also took part in abseiling, climbing, archery and firing a huge catapult.
All the activities were chosen to link in with this year’s school camp, which takes place in June.
Wendy Prescott, assistant headteacher of the Keskowethyans Multi Academy Trust, said: “Pupils tested their wits, tolerance, bravery and trust to complete the adventure day.
“A big thank you to Mr Studd, our PE specialist, and all the staff at BF Adventure.”
The day was paid for through the sports premium funding it receives from the government.
