Firefighters called to fire in Illogan house
Firefighters were called to Chili Road, Illogan Highway yesterday afternoon after a report of a fire in a house.
Fire Control received a call just after 1pm reporting a cooker on fire. Appliances from Camborne, Redruth and Truro attended the incident, in the kitchen of a two storey end terrace house.
The fire involved a grill pan which was out on arrival, firefighters wearing two breathing apparatus investigated the smoke logged premises and used a positive pressure ventilation fan to remove the smoke.
