A Falmouth man has been banned from the road for 18 months by magistrates in Truro after breath tests showed him to be almost twice the legal alcohol limit.
Callum Davidson, 25, of Boslowick Road, pleaded guilty to driving on Market Strand on March 1, when tests showed he had 67 microgrammes of alcohol to 100 millilitres of breath, with the legal limit being 35.
He was fined £240 and ordered to pay a £24 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
