While the main draw will be the chosing of Penryn's Fairy King and Queen, also up for grabs this evening are the titles of Miss Bright Eyes and the town's most knobbly knees.
These are just some of the several competitions set to take place in Penryn’s Temperance Hall from 7pm on Good Friday, (April 3).
As well as the competition to choose the Penryn Carnival’s Fairy King and Queen, who will win a cash prize, there will also be competitions for the best Easter bonnet, for Mr Saracen, Mrs Saracen, Miss Glasney and Mr Glasney, Miss Bright Eyes, a knobbly knees competition and a lookalike competition in the categories grandparent and grandchild, father and son, and mother and daughter.
