The Boscawen Fields Action Group in Falmouth is staging its next action day this Saturday, May 2, when volunteers are invited to go along from 10am and stay for as long as they can.
The group’s Tanji Cork said: “We are hoping to have a good turn out so that we can tidy and clear some of the areas to make the fields look nice for the next few months.”
Volunteers will meet near the entrance to the copse and will embark on weed and bracken clearing in the copse and along the footpaths. Some tools will be available, but it would help if those attending could bring their own loppers, secateurs and rakes etc.
