Detectives investigating a serious assault in Camborne at the weekend when a man was attacked with a bottle as he walked through a cemetery are appealing for witnesses.
The local man in his 40s was talking to a woman in the cemetery on Church Street on Saturday 2 May, shortly before 5.30pm, when he was attacked by an unknown man with a bottle.
The victim sustained serious head and facial injuries as a result and was taken to Royal Cornwall Hospital, Treliske hospital by ambulance.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information that could assist with the investigation.
