Swallows of Helston Gymnastics Club has completed a renovation of its headquarters thanks to the £1,000 worth of building materials they received as beneficiaries of RGB Building Supplies’ Well Built Community Fund.

As well as creating a much needed emergency exit pathway, the club has completely transformed the viewing area making it a welcoming place for parents to watch the progress of their children during practice sessions. The area has been boxed making it warmer, and space for refreshments has been created.

Additionally, the Community Fund allowed the club to renovate and move the girls' changing room to a more convenient location and also refurbish the boys' changing room.

Nikki Heaney, Swallows' trustee, said: “Everyone in the gymnastics club is absolutely thrilled at the refurbishment. We would like to say a big thank you to RGB Building Supplies for choosing us as beneficiaries of the Community Fund, it has certainly made a massive difference.”

Lee Atkinson, branch manager at RGB Porthleven, added: “Well done to the Swallows of Helston Gymnastics Club, their refurbishment looks fantastic. They certainly made the £1,000 worth of building materials go a long way.”
