IT'LL be good morning campers for the Gulls Theatre Group of Mullion when they perform their very own stage version of the vintage TV comedy Hi-de-Hi.

The show runs at Mullion Comprehensive School from May 27-29 (Wednesday,Thursday, Friday) starting at 7.30 pm.

Director Mary Druce said: "We put on ‘Allo ‘Allo a couple of years ago, and our audiences loved it, so we’re hoping we’ve hit the spot with this one too.

Everyone remembers Gladys Pugh and ‘Good morning campers, Hi-de-Hi!’, and Peggy the dotty chalet maid who aspires to be a Yellowcoat.

"We’ve even put the bar on the stage to get our ‘campers’ more involved, and we’re hoping for three riotous nights with lots of fifties music, knockabout comedy and corny jokes.

"There is a proper story, of course, and parts of it are a little bit sad, but we guarantee to lift your spirits and send you home shouting ‘Hi-de-Hi!’ and annoying your neighbours far into the night!"

Tickets are on sale at Mullion Post Office (£6 for adults and £5 for children). Or if you can’t get to the post office, ring 01326 240762 to make a booking.
