Another spate gorse and grass fires has caused concern to police and the fire service.
Last night, Camborne fire crews attended a fire in the grass on the sand towans at Gwithian.
The crew found approximately 10 square metres of gorse alight and extinguished the fire using beaters.
Arson is suspected.
A number of fires over the weekend were thought to have been caused deliberately although there was also controlled burning in places.
