Firefighters rescued two people from their vehicles following a crash at the top of Tregolls Road in Truro early this morning.
A crew of five from Truro Firse Station were joined by another crew on the rescue tender from Camborne, Pool and Redruth, as well as police and ambulance, following a call to the two vehicle incident at around 7am.
Although two people had been reported as trapped, upon arrival it was decided that the rescue tender was not needed.
A fire service spokesperson said: "Two people were assisted by the firefighters from their vehicles and left in the care of South West Ambulance Service, and the crew then made both vehicles safe."
