Coastguards from Falmouth have saved a moored boat from sinking after it heeled over during low water near Ocean BMW in Penryn.
The coastguard team was called just before 10pm yesterday and arrived to find that a stabilising leg had broken and a mooring line had snapped, with the vessel heeling over.
A spokesperson for the coastguard said: "We deployed two CRO's on board to check for any possible persons involved and also remove any possible pollutants from the vessel.
"Once this was complete, with the assistance of the Harbour Office and the tide, we righted the vessel and tied it off securely to the harbour wall, once the tide had flooded the hull was checked over for any obvious water ingress."
The Harbour Office will be contacting the boat's owner to arrange repairs.
