HARRY Potter actor Granville Saxton and Cornish comedian Kernow King have been confirmed to star in Hall For Cornwall’s Christmas show this year – Dick Whittington and his Mousehole Cat!

Granville Saxton is a firm favourite with HFC audiences – loved for his side-splitting audience interaction and brilliant ad-libbing. Granville is known as a villainous Death Eater in the final two Harry Potter films and has also appeared in numerous stage, television and film roles such as Our Friends In The North, Poirot , Shine On Harvey Moon, Harem, If Tomorrow Comes, Yanks, The Emissary and the Disney film Maleficent starring Angelina Jolie. Granville is back this time in a variety of intriguing guises, guaranteed to offer even more fun and laughs.

Appearing alongside Granville will be Cornwall’s very own comedy star Kernow King, otherwise known as Edward Rowe. Kernow King has become a huge local star after shooting to fame in 2010 with a collection of internet videos presenting a humorous mock Cornish ‘take’ on the world around us.

From a tragic murder at his allotment, falling in love with Cornwall’s finest pasty maker, searching for Brad Pitt in Falmouth, a day off in Looe and surviving on pasties for a month, the King hit cult status very quickly in Cornwall. KK as he is affectionately known as by his legion of fans, has well and truly established himself as the king of local comedy. Having just come back from a tour of Australia, Kernow King is will also be doing a stand-up show at HFC in October, having sold out at the venue three years running. In the Christmas show Kernow King will play Kenwyne, Dick Whittington’s cousin who joins him on an adventure to London.

Over the years, Hall For Cornwall has built up a strong reputation for the quality of its Christmas productions which have become a highlight of the festive season - offering wonderful family entertainment all ages can enjoy together. Expect this year to be even more fun than ever as Granville and Kernow King are united in this fun packed extravaganza.
