Bright vests for bright-eyed Brownies
Specsavers in Falmouth has helped children stay safe by donating high visibility vests to a local group.
The store gave the vests to children from Second Falmouth Cub Scouts, Sixth Falmouth Cub Scouts and Second Falmouth Brownies to promote safety when walking near the roads and at night.
Store director Gillian Sanguinette says: "We want to make sure that children are safe and visible at night.
"We hope our donation will help keep parents’ minds at ease when they’re escorting their children in the dark."
Brake is a national road safety charity which exists to prevent deaths and injuries which happen on roads on a daily basis, through campaigns and other funding. The charity also promotes safe and sustainable road use and effective road safety policies.
