The Rotary Club of Falmouth has presented reading certificates, prizes and dictionaries to pupils at Falmouth Primary Academy.
Since 2007 Falmouth Rotarians have been helped the school raise reading skills. Local Rotarians provide certificates and prizes for the most improved reader in each class an the club also presents a dictionary to every child about to graduate from the school and move onto secondary education.
In this week’s ceremony at the school, the new President of the town’s rotary club, Paul Wyatt, presented certificates to the most improved readers in each year group along with more than 30 dictionaries to the graduating year six pupils.
