Falmouth's inshore lifeboat crew rescued two people in a rigid inflatable after its engine failed crossing Falmouth Bay on saturday evening.
The boat was launched at around 9.30pm to help the five metre boat, which was adrift one and a half miles south west of Pendennis Point.
The crew took the inflatable in tow back into Falmouth and up the Penryn River where it was secured on the pontoons at Penryn Bridge.
