Join the Great British Walk at Godolphin

Join the National Trust at Godolphin as it celebrates the Great British Walk from Saturday, September 19 to Friday, October 23. With a programme of guided walks around the estate, there’s something for everyone this autumn.

Visitors can learn about the history of this vast 550 acre estate on a number of themed walks. Mining walks will take them to physical remains of some of the tin and copper mines on the estate that made Godolphin one of the grandest houses in Cornwall; and the Tudor walk will paint a picture of how the estate would have looked in Tudor times, as well as draw attention to archaeological points of interest.

Keen walkers can also join the more challenging five mile ‘Great Godolphin Walk’. Beginning at 11am it will take around three and a half hours, touring most of the estate and showing off some of the views from the top of Godolphin Hill.

All walks are free with normal admission, and no booking is required. Please wear sensible footwear. Great British Walk partners, Cotswold Outdoors, will be providing free advice and a boot fitting clinic for participants.
