A motorcyclist was taken to hospital by paramedics following a crash on Commercial Road in Penryn this morning.
Police and an ambulance were called to the scene at 8.06am, following reports of a road traffic collision, and found one casualty with possible neck injuries, but conscious and breathing.
Paramedics dealt with the casualty at the roadside, described by a police spokesperson as "walking wounded", before they were taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro for a check up.
On Facebook, Cathy Hendriks posted: "Accident outside Penryn park. Bike and car - police and ambulance just arrived on scene."
The road was closed between The Praze and the scene of the crash at Quay Hill, but was reopened shortly after 9am.
