A washing machine flooded a flat in Penryn this morning (29/9), leading to a call out for five firefighters from Falmouth Fire Station.
The crew was called at around 8.15am to a property in Broad Street where water was reported to be coming from the ceiling and affecting electronics.
A fire service spokesperson said: "Once on scene crews identified the cause of the leak and isolated a washing machine in the flat above to stop the water flow."
